The use of and demand for contingent labor – freelancers, consultants and independent contractors – around the world is driving double digit growth in the managed service provider market, according to the latest report from Everest Group. Everest predicts growth in 2018 of 10 to 12 percent, with total annual contingent spend reaching US$140-150 billion, after 11 percent growth year on year in 2017.
