Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Technology Forum Gives Honduras a Boost in ICT

Comayaguela, the twin, sister city of Tegucigalpa in Honduras, played host this month to the First Forum of Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Technology, organized by the National Telecommunications Commission (CONATEL).

The forum gave attendees in-depth knowledge of several ICT initiatives worldwide, as well as the chance to exchange opinions and share experiences in the industry, which is gaining momentum in Honduras. Our very own Jessica Reyes (pictured) also gave a presentation of how digital media can help with foreign investment.

More details were also revealed about the the Comayaguela Digital City Project, which is entering its next phase of execution in 2018 and turning part of ​​the Central District into a digital ecosystem, according to President of Honduras, Juan Orlando Hernández Alvarado.
