Nearshore Americas is partnering with TaskUs in the launch of a new webinar devoted to the crucial issues around data security in the rapidly expanding territory of remote work. The webinar will take place on July 16th, at 2 pm EDT/ 11 am PDT.
Work-from-home (WFH) has of course grow exponentially in recent months. Meanwhile, the practice has been shown to increase the risk of exposing sensitive data to cyber criminals. A recent study by antivirus maker Kaspersky showed cybercriminals launching phishing email attacks on teleworkers in an attempt to break into their corporate networks. In India, many outsourcing services providers have recently instructed employees to use office computers instead of their own due to data security concerns.
The webinar will provide a detailed look into how TaskUs is deploying data protection measures to adapt to new working environments. Santa Monica, Calif-based TaskUs has more than 17,000 employees in five countries around the globe, including a growing presence in the Nearshore region.
Porfirio Diaz, a Vice President at TaskUs, is one of the guest speakers. Diaz has been instrumental in developing and executing TaskUs´ aggressive growth plans in Latin America. Other speakers include Ruben Jimenez and Brandon Charif, both with TaskUs. Ruben brings experience from a wide range of industries, and Charif has a long history of managing cross-functional and multicultural teams for corporate firms.
