Outsourced customer services provider The Office Gurus is gearing up to hire more than 2,000 people across the Caribbean and El Salvador.
Seminole, Florida-based contact center firm has announced that it would expand operations to the Dominican Republic in addition to bolstering existing operations in El Salvador, Belize, and Jamaica.
“The Dominican Republic offers an educated and eager workforce with close cultural affinity to the US,” says Dominic Leide, President of The Office Gurus, adding that the company is seeing increased demand for services with its existing clients.
The Office Gurus has long been a favorite of Jamaica, where it runs more than three delivery centers. In its statement, the company has not specifically said how many people it would hire in Jamaica.
“Jamaica has been in our expansion plans for several years due to its expertise in the call center industry, well-educated workforce, and the tremendous hospitality and customer service that the country is known for,” Leide had stated in 2019 when the company launched its first delivery center on the island.
The new office in the Dominican Republic is scheduled to open sometime in May this year.
