The U.S. IT consulting firm 4Sight Technologies has named Panama’s former presidential adviser Temistocles Arjona as its general manager for Latin American operations.
4Sight says that Arjona, who was the adviser for the Panamanian government on technology and innovation, would drive growth and expand the company’s operation in Latin America.
Boston,MA-based 4Sight Technologies has offices in Panama and Bogota, Colombia.
“As 4Sight continues to expand our Latin American operations, we will look to Arjona’s vast experience within that region and ability to engage local universities, government, and private sector companies,” stated Hernan Clarke, CEO, 4Sight Technologies.
Arjona said he was excited to work with 4Sight, saying that the company’s business intelligence (BI) enterprise solution ‘cuts through massive amounts of data to filter the information necessary to make timely, game-changing decisions.’
Arjona will work out of the company’s office in Panama and will report to the company’s CEO.
The IT consulting firm says it technology solutions empower organizations to work together more efficiently and use business insight more effectively to stay ahead of the competition.
As an adviser for the government, Arjona was instrumental in making Panamanian government to use web technologies to reach out its people. He was also the regional director for the United Nations and regional manager for the American Express.
