San Diego Software Maker Santex Expands Operations to Argentina

On-demand custom software maker Santex Group has expanded its operations to Argentina with the inauguration of a delivery center in Cordoba.

Founded in 1999 in the US city of San Diego, Santex has employed around 340 people and runs offices in Miami as well as Latin American cities of Medellin and Lima.

The Cordoba center will employ around 125 people and offer software development services to local businesses, the company executives have stated. In addition to software development, Santex also offers to build mobile apps and e-commerce platforms.

“The plan for 2022 is to add 250 new members to our team, of which at least 125 will be in Córdoba. We want this new headquarters to become a meeting and collaboration point,” said Juan Santiago, CEO & Founder.

Santiago, also known as a serial entrepreneur from Argentina, claimed that the company had invested US$3.5 million in its new offices.

“The new headquarters were designed with state-of-the-art technology from the start: 100 percent domotized – which means sound masking, smart glass with curtains that work automatically according to the amount of sunlight, ergonomic workstations with dual monitors, touch boards, a curved modular mega dimension screen, and a powerful monitor which we are the first in America to have,” the company claimed in a blog post.
