ServiceNow Bets Bigger on Costa Rica; Plans to Expand Staff by More Than Double

California-based software firm ServiceNow is significantly expanding its presence in Costa Rica.

The company (which specializes in cloud computing software) plans to hire 200 workers in Costa Rica, aiming for key areas such as information technology, sales, digital design and finance, according to CINDE, Costa Rica’s investment promotion agency.

This expansion follows ServiceNow’s recent introduction of a new digital community initiative aimed at attracting a broader customer base.

ServiceNow landed in Costa Rica in March 2023 with the opening of a delivery center at the America Free Trade Zone (AFZ), in Heredia. Approximately 150 Costa Ricans are employed by the company, primarily supporting its technology operations across Latin America.

The Costa Rican office plays a crucial role in delivering digital workflow management solutions to businesses throughout the region. Laura Campos, a senior executive leading ServiceNow’s operations in Costa Rica, emphasized the office’s significant contribution to the company’s regional strategy.

In addition to competitive salaries, Costa Rican employees enjoy comprehensive health insurance and a range of other benefits, according to Campos.
