TeleTech Appoints Carlos Millan as Head of Latin American Operations

U.S. customer experience solutions provider TeleTech has named industry veteran Carlos Millan as Vice President and placed him in charge of its Latin American operations. Millan, who previously led regional customer strategy practices for Accenture, Deloitte and Ernst & Young, will focus on expanding the company’s operations across the region, particularly in Mexico.

TeleTech currently has a strong presence in Latin America, with operations in Mexico, Costa Rica and Brazil, where it serves both regional and global clients in key industries such as telecommunications, finance, healthcare and tourism.

From Webmetro to Technology Solutions Group and Guidon Performance Solutions to iKnowtion, Teletech has acquired half a dozen companies since its establishment in 1982.

Most recently, Millan led the customer strategy practice among financial services and healthcare industries as a partner for Ernst & Young in Mexico. Following a long stint at Accenture managing financial services and CRM strategies in Mexico, he was a partner at Deloitte for nearly seven years, where he advanced strategy, technology and operations for holistic CRM and customer service-oriented projects.

” His deep expertise in the design and delivery of multichannel customer experience, coupled with his knowledge of regional market needs and opportunities, will be extremely valuable to our operations in Mexico,” said Keith Gallacher, executive vice president of Global Markets and Industries at TeleTech.
