BPO vendor Alorica expanded its operations to Poland, opening a new office in the central city of Łódź. The company is set to hire hundreds of employees in the coming months, both onsite and remote.
The California-based call center firm, a large majority of whose employees work out of Latin America and the Caribbean, had already announced plans for expansion in Poland and Egypt.
The new office in Łódź spans more than 4,700 square meters across two floors and can initially accommodate 650 employees.
“Poland has been on our radar as robust commercial markets with a strong talent pipeline. Our new operations will unlock career opportunities for local residents and create a distinct path to extend our solutions to clients in the region,” said Greg Haller, Chief Executive Officer at Alorica.
The expansion comes four months after the BPO wrapped up a $725 million refinancing deal with Cerberus Business Finance. Back in May, Alorica said its revenue had grown by 23% and EBITDA by 50% since 2020.
Alorica had already set foot in Eastern Europe. The company employs 1,000 workers in the city of Sofia, Bulgaria’s capital. The company described Łódź is a “city near Warsaw; accessible to high-caliber candidates.”
