Argentine Entrepreneurs Find New Home in Silicon Valley

The City of Buenos Aires Government’s Ministry of Modernization is developing an office space and networking location in Silicon Valley for Argentine entrepreneurs and tech start-ups.
The project, named BA Valley, will be financed by the companies that rent the office space as they develop their ideas in the cradle of Google, Facebook, and other technology giants.
Buenos Aires has been considered a start-up mecca for some time. Last year, research firm Compass’ top 20 global start-up ecosystems featured the Argentine capital alongside only one other Latin American city: São Paulo.
As our recent report shows, Silicon Valley has been growing south, as nearshore countries–particularly Mexico–have also been developing themselves as reputable startup hubs.
