Global CRM and BPO provider Atento has signed an agreement with Unimed-Rio to modernize its customer relationship structure and reinforce its digital transformation process.
Unimed-Rio provides healthcare services in Rio de Janeiro and is one of the largest providers in the country, serving more than 740,000 customers, according to a press release.
This agreement makes Atento the leading provider of BPO services for Brazil’s healthcare industry.
“The carve out of part of Unimed-Rio’s customer relationship operations advances the execution of our growth strategy and accelerates Atento’s penetration into healthcare, a high growth vertical for CRM/BPO services and solutions in Brazil and the wider Latin American region,” said Alejandro Reynal, the BPO’s Chief Executive Officer.
