United States’ IT outsourcing firm Aztec Systems is merging with South America’s Toutatis Client Services do Brasil, S.A., according to a statement from glendonTodd Capital LLC.
The merger will create a new company called Toutatis Aztec Solutions LLC and will be based in Dallas.
Following the merger, the combined company will set up a “multi-lingual shared services center” in Dallas creating more than 250 jobs.
The merger expands geographic footprint and service offerings for both companies. The combined company will be headquartered in Dallas and will deliver services through its 15 offices in the US and Latin America.
The reason for merger was to gain cross-selling opportunity for critical business processes, applications and hosting services to over 1,000 customers throughout the Americas, the companies stated in a press release.
São Paulo, Brazil-based Toutatis has 300 customers and nine offices in seven countries across Latin America.
The combined company will offer services including human resources outsourcing, finance and accounting outsourcing, procurement outsourcing, information technology outsourcing, and data hosting services.
Marcelo França, CEO of Toutatis and a founding partner of Performa Partners, will serve as CEO of TAS following the merger.
“TAS will offer a robust platform of complementary information technology and business process outsourcing services to middle market and multinational companies throughout the Americas,” said Todd Furniss, CEO and Managing Partner of glendonTodd.
