People want more from nearshore. In 2015, the client demand for higher-value services is driving innovation and improvement in the IT outsourcing space, said Belatrix President and Co-Founder Alex Robbio at Nexus 2015. “It’s a very exciting time for nearshore because we’re definitely coming out of this old model of basing our value proposition on just time-zone alignment as well as the cultural similarities,” said Robbio. “That’s still of course something that’s important — that’s a given — but what we are seeing is that clients have higher expectations now.”
