Brazilian startup QuintoAndar has raised a 250 million reais ($64 milion) Series C funding round led by private equity firm General Atlantic.
The startup announced in a statement that it is planning to use the money to expand its network in southern Brazilian cities and start operations in other cities such as Porto Alegre and Curitiba.
“We are changing the way people live, with less bureaucracy and more agility, adapting the dwelling to the lifestyle and personality of each one, and this is only the beginning of a transformation that will impact the design of the cities themselves,” said Gabriel Braga, the co-founder and CEO of the startup.
Other companies took part in the round as well, including Kaszek Ventures, Qualcomm Ventures and QED.
