Chile Week USA Seeks to Strengthen US-Chile Relationship

On Tuesday, Chile’s Foreign Minister Heraldo Muñoz, officially inaugurated the first edition of Chile Week USA, in a bid to promote trade and investment between the two countries.
The national delegation participating in the event will consist of more than 150 people representing 67 companies, 8 trade associations, 6 public bodies, and 2 charities that seek to further strengthen the relationship with Chile’s largest source of foreign investment.
“Chile Week USA is a great opportunity to show the best we have: our goods, our services, our tourism,” said Muñoz, adding that there is extraordinary importance in the access to innovation and technology.
Currently, the U.S. represents the largest market for Chilean exports at US$6.3 billion in 2015, without considering copper, according to ProChile.
