Living cheaply in a beautiful, tropical location is a dream for many, and Latin America offers that in abundance. But having access to high-quality, affordable expat healthcare is another must-have for many. International Living magazine recently ranked countries across the world for their healthcare and found three of the top four reside in Latin America. Colombia (where “the constitutional court ruled that health is a fundamental human right”) is the highest rated, while Costa Rica (where “doctors often speak English”) and Panama (where “most medications are available without a prescription”) aren’t far behind.
