In 2015, organizations in the United Kingdom spent nearly 20% less on IT outsourcing and BPO than in the prior year. But this drop was due to lower prices more so than sagging interest, and thus mirrors global results in which there was an 8% drop in year-over-year value in 2015 but a record 1445 contracts signed, according to Computer Weekly. “They’re buying flexibility with cost variability, utilizing smaller deals more than ever as they revamp their processes around cloud, digitalization, and automation,” John Keppel, partner and president of ISG, told the magazine.
