Concentrix Bulking Up in Costa Rica With 500 More Staff

US BPO provider Concentrix has announced plans to add 500 more employees to its operations in Costa Rica, where it runs four delivery centers.

Concentrix is running a job fair to find the new hires, and expects its total number of employees in the country to exceed 2,000 as a result.

“We are looking for new members of the Concentrix team who understand the need to innovate in each task, be demanding, and seek to add value,” said Juan Pablo Guzman, Country Manager for Concentrix in Costa Rica, according to La Nacion.

The announcement comes after Concentrix began the process of merging with global customer services giant Convergys, which too has extensive presence in the Central American country.

It provides a wide range of BPO services, including omnichannel customer experience management, marketing optimization, digital, consulting, analytics, and back office solutions in various languages.

In Costa Rica, the company is looking for call center agents who can speak in Spanish or English. Senior call center workers will also be recruited as operations managers.

The call center provider arrived in Costa Rica in 2009 with equity investment in Occidental Business Services, a local company that provided customer services primarily in Spanish language.
