Dominican Newspaper Mistakes Alec Baldwin for Trump

El Nacional, a national newspaper in Dominican Republic, has mistakenly published a photo of Alec Baldwin instead of President Donald Trump.

The newspaper ran the photo next to one of Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli Prime Minister. In its apology, the editors said that the AP photo of Baldwin “happened unnoticed” by the paper’s staff.

“Actor Baldwin imitates President Trump on the Saturday Night Live weekly show on the National Broadcasting Company (NBC), one of the most important in the United States,” said the newspaper in its apology.

Alec Baldwin has been imitating Trump on Saturday Night Live for sometime now, to the extent that Trump himself took offense to Baldwin’s sketches.
