Drift Comes to Latin America, Sets up Office in Guadalajara

Conversational marketing platform Drift has expanded operations to Mexico with a delivery center in Guadalajara.

Boston, MA-based Drift says it will hire 40 professionals in Mexico by the end of this year, adding that its total headcount may exceed 100 over the next couple of years.

This is Drift’s sixth site globally and the first in Latin America.

“Guadalajara is home to incredible talent and innovative technology leaders, and we are excited to play a part in the expansion of this community,” says Drift’s CEO David Cancel.

“Our new conversation space will help us scale talented and diverse engineering teams to build world-class products for our global customer base while capitalizing on the rapidly growing market we see in Latin America.”

Founded in 2014, Drift is experiencing a sudden growth in the past few years. At the center of its success is an AI-powered platform, which makes it easy for brands to stay in touch with their customers through a range of channels including chats, phones, and social media.

U.S. software firm ServiceNow has recently praised Drift, saying its platform helped it reach more customers in a matter of days.
