E3: Microsoft, Sony Unveil New Virtual Reality Offerings at Annual Entertainment Event

Do you know your Marios from your Master Chiefs and your MMORPGs from your MOBAs? Then you might have been following news from Electronics Entertainment Expo (E3) this week, where the gaming industry’s big three, Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo, have been unveiling the next triple-A titles and technologies to grace the market.
This year, virtual reality has been a primary focus, with Microsoft revealing Project Scorpio, a VR-ready, 4K resolution console, Sony announcing it’s launch date for PlayStation VR (October 13th, in case you’re wondering), and a little horror title called Resident Evil VII, which will feature full VR support.
It’s going to be a great year for virtual reality gaming, folks!
