Based in Managua, Nicaragua, Ana Marcela Valladares is an Investment Promotion Manager at ProNicaragua, the country’s official IPA.
Ana Marcela has helped contribute to the attraction of over US$665 million in foreign direct investment for Nicaragua and also played a key part in generating over 22,600 jobs during her first four years at the agency.
Prior to her position at ProNicaragua, Ana Marcela studied business administration in marketing and anagement, before working for a real estate firm and a lending firm in Sacremento, California.
For two years, Ana Marcela has also been a member of the board of CCNN (North American Nicaraguan Cultural Center), a non-profit Nicaraguan institution whose mission is to promote cultural exchange between Nicaraguan and North American people.
