Ana Paula Assis has this week been named General Manager for IBM Latin America, becoming the first female executive to lead the company in the region.
With 20 years of experience in the IT industry, Ana Paula has held a series of leadership positions at IBM in Brazil, Latin America, and at the global level.
In the last decade, she served as IBM’s Global Technology Services Director for the Financial Services Industry in Latin America, as well as Director of Strategic Outsourcing and Vice President Software Group at IBM Brazil.
Ana Paula holds a degree in Computer Science with Business Administration specialization at Fundação Getúlio Vargas and a Master in Business Administration at Fundação Dom Cabral of Brazil.
