Faces in the Crowd – Shannon Burch

Shannon Burch is a customer experience advocate focused on evolving the delivery of financial advice to customers. She has worked with many groups of employees across multiple disciplines, geographies, and companies.
Currently, Shannon leads the Customer Advice and Solutions channel within Scotiabank’s Customer Contact Center in Toronto, but was previously a vice president at the bank, which she joined after a five-year stint at CIBC.
Originally from Western Canada, Shannon is alumni from the University of Alberta, where she studied Economics. Shannon has a huge sports fan and competitor, with hockey, curling, lacrosse, golf, and skiing being her favorites.
