Finnish Firm Relex Expands Ops to Querétaro

Finnish software company Relex Solutions has expanded its operations into Mexico by opening a technology center in Querétaro.

The company has not publicly shared exact hiring numbers for the new office. However, recent LinkedIn posts show that Relex already serves several U.S.-based clients with operations in Mexico, suggesting the move will support existing work and attract new business.

Staff in Querétaro will work closely with the Atlanta team, as both locations share the same time zone. This setup allows for smooth collaboration during regular working hours.

“Opening our Querétaro office marks an important step in scaling our global teams,” said Mikko Kärkkäinen, Co-founder and Group CEO of Relex.

Kärkkäinen explained that the main reason for the expansion is to access local professionals who have strong skills in AI-driven platforms.

Relex was founded in 2005 and is headquartered in Helsinki, Finland. It operates in 16 countries worldwide. The company provides an AI-powered platform that helps retailers and manufacturers manage end-to-end planning. This includes demand forecasting, replenishment, inventory optimization, production planning, and scheduling — all in one unified system.

Heidi Virta, Head of Latin America at Business Finland—an organization that supports Finnish companies entering new markets — welcomed the move.
