German QA Vendor ASC Technologies Sets Up in Mexico City

German quality assurance and analytics vendor ASC Technologies has established a subsidiary in Mexico City in an apparent bid to capitalize on the growing customer services industry in Central America.

The Mexican office will focus on winning new clients in Central America and the Caribbean, ASC stated in a press release.

“ASC sees great potential in [Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean] with regard to the demand for state-of-the-art communications technology and thus also for solutions to record and analyze corporate communications – both as a service from the cloud and as a local solution at the customer’s premise,” said Marco Müller, Chief Operating Officer at ASC Technologies.

It is not yet clear how many people it will hire in Mexico, but it has recruited omnichannel expert Oscar Gomez to lead sales and business development efforts in the region. Gomez will work out of the company’s base in the United States rather than in Mexico City.

The company already has a sales office in Sao Paulo, which caters to its clients in South America.

Headquartered in Hoesbach, Germany, ASC offers solutions for businesses to record, analyze and evaluate customer interactions, including fixed-line, mobile voice, chat, video, and on-screen activities.

ASC’s technology platforms also offer to record and analyze corporate communications – both as a service from the cloud and as a local solution at the customer’s premise. The company claims its technology platform captures communications streams, evaluates the content, and then structures data into valuable information, something businesses look for to enhance productivity and decrease costs.
