German IT services provider GFT has expanded further in Brazil, inaugurating a new center in Curibata, the capital of Paraná State.
Officially opened on February 21st, 2017, the center will be home to 200 employees who will be focused on digital transformation, innovation, and agile engineering projects, according to a LinkedIn post by the company’s managing director for the Latam region, Marco Alexandre de Lima Santos.
Speaking with Nearshore Americas last year, Marco stated that his goal for the company was to be recognized by the market as “The reference in digital for financial services” and cross the 1,000 employee mark in Brazil.
With this latest expansion, it looks like Marco and GFT are on the right track to achieving that goal.
