HatchWorks Launches Two Delivery Centers in Colombia

American software development firm HatchWorks expanded its operations to two Colombian cities (Bogota and Medellin) in an apparent bid to access regional engineering talent.

Having operations in Latin America is a game changer, stated Brandon Powell, CEO and Founder of HatchWorks, as well as a Nexus Illuminate Award winner, after unveiling the centers.

“Our unique approach to fusing US expertise and Latin American scalability and affordability is what sets us apart, and it’s proving to be a winning formula,” Powell commented in a press release.

Established in 2016 in Atlanta, HatchWorks specializes in building software products using cutting-edge technologies, including data analytics, AI and IoT.

A bulk of its income comes from IT services, such as custom-made software.

The company’s revenue reportedly increased from US$1.9 million to over US$10 million between 2017 and 2020, with its employee count exceeding 100.
