Infosys acquired In-tech, a German engineering R&D services provider specializing in the automotive industry.
The acquisition strengthens Infosys’ position in the rapidly evolving automotive landscape, particularly in areas like electric vehicles and autonomous driving.

Infosys, headquartered in Bangalore, aims to combine In-Tech’s expertise with that of two recently acquired firms: Topaz and InSemi, both known for their strengths in semiconductors and AI.
Dinesh Rao, a senior Infosys executive, assured that this mix of expertise positions the company for the next wave of automotive innovation.
“The automotive industry is undergoing a radical transformation,” stated Jasmeet Singh, Infosys’ Global Head of Manufacturing. “Software is becoming the heart of modern vehicles, and Infosys is well-positioned to support manufacturers with this expertise.”
Based in Munich, In-tech employs over 2,000 engineers who develop solutions for electric mobility, connected and autonomous vehicles, and smart transportation. Their offerings include system design, software and hardware development, and infotainment system validation.
The acquisition will also strengthen Infosys’ footprint across Europe. In-tech runs delivery centers in Austria, UK, Czech Republic, Romania and Spain as well.
