Nearshore BPO provider KM2 Solutions has expanded its call center operations in Bogotá, Colombia, with the launch of a new delivery center.
The expansion comes a year after the company established operations in the country. The new delivery center, with over 27,000 square feet of floor space, is about five kilometers north of the existing center, according to a company statement.
The expansion will accommodate more than 800 agents, KM2 says.
“Bogotá has a greater metropolitan population of nearly 10.5 million people, many of whom are young, well-educated workers. The city is ideal for the BPO industry,” according to David Kreiss, CEO of KM2 Solutions.
“We have seen rapid growth in our Colombian office due to the spectacular people we have hired. This translates directly into high performance for our clients.”
Among the services KM2 Solutions provides from Colombia include customer care, sales and retention, collections, technical support, and back office processing, with clients in sectors such as retail, healthcare, technology, finance, telecommunication, hospitality, and utilities.
“Although the Bogotá office has only been in operation for one year, it already hosts five client programs with several others starting soon,” the company said.
Now headquartered in the US, KM2 Solutions was founded in Saint Lucia and later expanded to the Dominican Republic, Barbados, and Grenada, and it also operates in Honduras.
