Even innovative companies can struggle to keep up with all the latest tech trends, and the best generally focus on what will help their company the most. To this end, two-thirds of shared services outsourcers in Latin America see mobile and self-service solutions as the most-promising areas for pushing their company forward, according to a recent report from SSON. These bread-and-butter options far outweigh hot topics like in-house networking and robotic process automation, which only 21% and 11% believe offer the most promise in terms of becoming a more digital enterprise. For many, the staples outweigh the bells and whistles.
