Advice for Traversing the Legendary Pan-American Highway

Looking for your next big adventure? Featuring some of the world’s most spectacular landscapes and almost 30,000 miles of open road across the Americas, the legendary Pan-American Highway is the ultimate road trip.
Listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the longest motorable road in the world, the highway passes through Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Chile.
Driving an average of eight hours a day, it would take approximately three months to complete the journey, although it’s advisable to spend longer in order to see the many beautiful sights along the way.
