Ricoh Unveils Innovation Center in Costa Rica

Ricoh, a Japanese technology vendor, opened an innovation center in Heredia, Costa Rica, to provide remote IT support services to clients throughout the region.

The 700-square-meter facility, built at a cost of US$800,000, houses a co-creation space where customers can work with Ricoh’s experts to develop new solutions. It also has a training center where customers can learn about the firm’s new technology solutions.

Ricoh has a long history in Latin America, with operations in 20 countries and annual revenue of over US$1 billion. Ricoh’s collaboration and workspace management tools have become increasingly popular in recent years, as more and more businesses adopt hybrid work arrangements. Furthermore, its cybersecurity solutions are tailored to safeguard data in a remote office setting.

“These new offices represent the company’s vision of digital and collaborative workspaces, where the best solutions are integrated according to the specific needs and challenges of clients,” said Hernán Quirós, General Manager of Ricoh Costa Rica.
