Colombian pop superstar Shakira has more to offer than just a catalog of infectious songs. As a mother of two, the Barranquilla-born social activist teamed up with Fisher-Price to develop a parenting app called “Grow” that she hopes will make it just a bit easier to raise kids. “With this app, you can simply use the daily age-appropriate tip or activity sent to you, or you can access the entire library of tips at any time,” Shakira told the Latin Post. The Shakira app also allows parents to record “milestone” memories in their children’s lives, stores important photos, and, of course, is available en Español. “There are many mothers in Latin American countries that have less support than others that I want to help — even a small contribution,” said Shakira.
