Tivit Aims for AI in Argentina with $1.5 Million Investment

Brazilian tech services company Tivit is poised to invest US$1.5 million in a shared services center in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Scheduled to be up and running by the end of the year, this center will provide crucial backup services for Tivit’s operations throughout Latin America.

The facility will initially employ approximately 250 tech professionals, with plans to scale up the workforce as operations expand.

The majority of the new hires in Argentina will be AI specialists and senior IT professionals who will oversee Tivit’s IT services projects across the region.

Following the spin-off of its data center business, Tivit has streamlined its operations, becoming more agile. Recently, the company launched two significant platforms to meet the growing demand for advanced technology solutions: oneCloud, a multi-cloud management platform, and Athena, a generative AI tool.

Tivit is also developing new services, including consultancy and integration offerings, to help businesses optimize their operations through AI.

In addition to this investment, Tivit has allocated US$50 million for acquisitions across Latin America and is investing US$60 million this year to modernize its cloud services.

Tivit is also planning to offshore certain functions—such as software development, finance, and HR management—to focus on its core, higher-revenue services.

With over 5,000 employees, Tivit operates delivery centers in Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, and Mexico. According to Bloomberg, the Brazilian firm is aiming to surpass US$2 billion in annual revenue this year.
