Wingo Starting New Caribbean Flights in December

Panama-based Copa Holdings is launching a new low-cost airline called Wingo. The carrier will be based in Colombia and is expected to begin service on December 1st 2016, with flights to 16 cities in 10 countries in South America and the Caribbean Basin.
Wingo will operate a fleet of four Boeing 737-700 aircraft, each capable of carrying 142 passengers.
The initial service will include nonstop flights from Bogota to Cancun, Havana, Aruba, Punta Cana, Mexico City, San Andres, Panama City, Quito, and Cartagena, among others.
The service will include twice-weekly Aruba and Punta Cana flights; thrice-weekly Havana flights and five-times-weekly Cancun flights, among others.
