Outsourcing and consulting services provider Alsbridge Inc has acquired network and IT consulting firm Telwares for an undisclosed price.
Dallas-based Alsbridge said it acquired Telwares from private equity firm One Equity Partners, which is an arm of JP Morgan Chase.
The acquisition, according to Alsbridge, creates one of the world’s largest supplier-neutral network procurement, outsourcing and transformation advisory firm.
Telwares has over 200,000 data points and gathers market intelligence from thousands of sourcing transactions.
These are the kind of solutions and data that help executives have a closer glimpse of their enterprise networking system so they can take early decisions on Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) policies, leveraging cloud applications, and mining Big Data.
More than half the value of corporations, experts say, is driven by patent portfolios and IP innovations that come from mining corporate data.
“We are proud to bring our expertise, solutions and deep Fortune 500 relationships to the Alsbridge portfolio,” said Dave Muller, President of Telwares.
