APAC Customer Services Inc is hiring more than 350 agents for its Phoenix, Arizona service center, as the global BPO provider digs deeper into the U.S. call center services market.
The announcement comes barely a day after the company announced creation of 500 new jobs at its delivery center in Humble, Texas.
The new employees will work for the company’s new clients. “200 roles will support one of the country’s largest and fastest-growing coordinated care plans whose primary focus is Medicare Advantage plans. The additional 150 jobs will service a major retailer of consumer electronics,” the company stated in a press release.
The BPO provider, with headquarters in Illinois, said it was looking for licensed insurance agents willing to serve clients’ customers via phone and e-mail channels.
“It’s exciting to bring this number of high-quality jobs to the Valley of the Sun. The diversity of clients and industries means we have a wide-range of opportunities, applicable for many interests, skills and experience,” said Laura Goadby, general manager of APAC in Phoenix location.
APAC has operation in a large number of Latin American countries including Mexico, Panama, Uruguay and Guatemala. In addition to customer care, the company offers technical support, and back-office services.
In Texas, APAC is looking to hire customer care agents with ability to speak in both English and Spanish.
