Cognizant Acquires EI-Technologies and Code Zero Consulting To Boost Cloud Solutions

Cognizant has acquired two of its smaller rivals – EI-Technologies and Code Zero Consulting – in an apparent bid to boost its cloud solutions portfolio.

The acquisitions accelerate the growth of its salesforce business, in particular, helping it gain wider access to numerous wealthy clients in Europe.

Paris-based EI-Technologies is Salesforce consultancy, with reports suggesting that many of the top firms listed on the French Stock Exchange are its clients.

Moreover, it is a Salesforce’s Platinum Partner, and its EI-Institute training center is one of the largest approved Salesforce training partner centers in Europe. The French company also specializes in Microsoft collaboration platform solutions and CIO advisory services and has employed around 300 people.

Atlanta, Ga.-based Code Zero is also a sort of cloud consultancy, as it advises businesses on implementing Salesforce CPQ and billing systems.

“The acquisition of Code Zero enriches our cloud solutions offerings, brings deep domain expertise to our clients and further strengthens our strategic relationship with Salesforce.com,” said Brian Humphries, CEO of Cognizant.

Cognizant will likely merge Code Zero with Advanced Technology Group (ATG), another QTC (quote-to-cash) business processing services provider whom it acquired in 2018.

“Code Zero’s team of professionals, based primarily in Atlanta, Ga., and Charlotte, N.C., will complement and extend ATG’s footprint,” Cognizant said in a press release.
