Cognizant stated the acquisition complements its existing finance and HR advisory implementation services with Workday, in addition to bolstering its capabilities in consulting, deployment and post-deployment support services.
“Adoption and migration to the cloud to manage workflows is only accelerating, and the Workday platform ecosystem continues to be embraced as a critical tool to provide finance, HR and other functions greater resiliency and agility,” said Rob Vatter, Executive Vice President of Cognizant’s Enterprise Platform Services.
Founded in 2008, OneSource claims that it pioneered business process-as-a-service (BPaaS) and worked with hundreds of firms on finance and HR projects.
With nearly US$19 billion in annual revenue, Cognizant is one of the leading tech outsourcing firms in North America, with a large majority of its workers operating out of India.
