A young and upcoming actor from the Dominican Republic, Alexander Pimentel, is set to star alongside Tom Hanks in a new staging of Shakespeare’s Henry IV.
Alexander has previously performed in the world premiere of The Madres at The Skylight Theater Company, and took the lead role in a new musical Havana Music Hall. He has also played Gabe in Next to Normal, Hal in Henry IV, and Fabrizio in La luz en la Piazza.
He is a graduate of Westminster Choir College and has a Master of Arts from the Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts in London.
Henry IV opens on June 5, 2018, and is presented by the Shakespeare Center of Los Angeles at The Japanese Garden on the West Los Angeles VA Campus.
