Outsourced customer experience (CX) services provider Everise has extended its footprint to Colombia, opening a mega contact center in Bogota.
Florida-based Everise says it will kick-start its Colombian operations with around 1,000 employees, adding 2,000 more agents to its workforce over the next three years.
Colombia’s location and availability of bilingual workers was what prompted Everise to install an office in the country.
“For years, we have followed Colombia, because the support of the government, the size of the market, and a well-trained and bilingual workforce make the BPO environment favorable in the country,” stated Sudhir Agarwal, CEO of Everise.

Despite having a mega office, a majority of Everise’s Colombian workers would work remotely and get connectivity assistance as well as a food bonus.
Everise launched operations in Latin America a decade ago with a delivery center in Guatemala, where it employes nearly 2,000 people. Now it is expanding in the region.
The firm hopes to replicate its Guatemalan success in building a skilled workforce.
Although founded in Singapore, the company is headquartered in Florida, and most of its clients are healthcare or technology companies in the United States.
