Sir Martin Sorrell, chairman of digital agency giant WPP, was unable to contain his enthusiasm for Argentina’s creative talent and new political leadership when he took the stage. “The Argentina creative product is one of the strongest in the world,” said Sorrell. “I’m not exaggerating. The quality of the creative thinking is exceptional.” Sorrell made these comments two weeks ago at the New York Stock Exchange while on hand to congratulate Globant CEO Martin Migoya and CTO Guilbert Englebienne, co-authors of a new book,“The Never Ending Digital Journey,” that explores the engineering-driven path to improve the user experience. The event marked yet another step in the journey between Globant and WPP, which purchased a 20% stake in Globant in 2002 after Sorrell had a happenstance meeting in Punta del Este with Migoya.
