Southwest Unveils New Daily Flights to Caribbean

Southwest Airlines has announced a new schedule of daily flights from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FTL) to the Caribbean.

The new flights will connect FTL to Grand Cayman’s Owen Roberts International Airport, Montego Bay, Jamaica; Belize, and Cancun in the Mexican Caribbean.

The company said that flights to Belize would start as low as $89 one way, with flights to Cancun and Montego Bay at $89 and $99, respectively, one way.

Since last year, the airline has been flying from FTL to three cities in Cuba (Havana, Varadero, and Santa Clara), along with Nassau in the Bahamas.

Southwest also announced plans to operate flights between Cincinnati and Grand Cayman, which will start on June 4.
