Honduras 20/20, Grupo Jamar, and Vizion Development have broken ground on a new US$12.7 million mixed infrastructure project in Tegucigalpa called Ventu, the first of its kind in the city.
The project comprises of approximately 26,900 m2 in total office space, with a commercial center, gastronomic and recreational activities, a green area, and a parking lot included for occupants. The investment promotion agency hopes to attract companies in the BPO/ITO sector to the facility, once it is completed in 2019.
“Ventu will stimulate BPO/ITO expansion, because it responds to the needs of Honduran and foreign capital investors in terms of technology, and optimal work conditions for outsourced entrepreneurial services,” said Peter Fleming, Director of Honduras 20/20.
