Bulgarian ICT Provider Tek Experts Adds 50 Employees in Costa Rica

Bulgarian information technology services provider Tek Experts is adding another 50 employees to its Costa Rica operations in preparation to fully exploit the advantages of nearshoring.

“We established delivery centers in Costa Rica because of the country’s close proximity to our strategic clients,” said Luis Guillermo Campos, Country Manager at Tek Experts in Costa Rica, adding that its operations in the country have contributed toward a significant saving in logistics costs.

The company will be hiring computer engineers, programmers, software developers, and customer service agents.

“Our talent base is growing every year and we are looking for more people to come and be a part of our incredible business. We have always been committed to developing our business and supporting our talent in Costa Rica,” Campos added.

Tek Experts arrived in Costa Rica’s capital San Jose in 2009. Reports say the company has employed around 750 people in the Central American country, representing roughly 40% of its global workforce.

In a statement posted on its website, Tek Experts said it provides job opportunities for veterans and working mothers, in addition to people looking for a second career and employees of different backgrounds.

“We encourage collaboration across our global sites and provide the opportunity for employees from Costa Rica to travel internationally to train, learn, and to share expertise,” said company.
