Jamaica is full of unique culinary experiences, but one of the most memorable is The Houseboat Grill, a floating restaurant in Montego Bay.
To access the restaurant, guests must cross a small body of water via a tiny wooden rope ferry, operated by a super friendly captain — don’t worry, crocodiles are a rare sight.
After the mini-crossing, you’re greeted on a two-story houseboat in a stunning area of natural beauty surrounded by clear water and jungle. The restaurant serves mouth-watering chicken, fish, lobster cake, pork and a must-try dessert, the molten chocolate cake — and, of course, plenty of Red Stripe lager.
