Bahamian tech firm PO8 has opened its doors to the younger generation by funding an internship for software developers to become masters in blockchain. The Caribbean Blockchain Alliance (CBA) is running a blockchain internship programme over three months to find five successful coders who will intern with PO8.
With companies outside of the Bahamas already looking for new developers, the internship will be a massive step in positioning the Bahamas in this field, with lots of opportunities likely to be available after the six-month pilot period. The growth of blockchain is set to take the global market’s worth from $1 billion to over $23 billion by 2023.
